3Dog Cantina

1615 N Cahuenga Blvd
Hollywood, CA 90028

With a pretty stellar view of the eccentric Cahuenga Blvd. in Hollywood, due to its awesome giant open wall of windows, 3 Dog Cantina is an awesome place to relax after work and scope out the scene. This spot boasts a full bar, a great menu of classic Mexican food with some California flare and ample seating. Grab some friends and then grab an icy beer and some supremely tasty tacos.

Hollywood is a place filled with restaurants and bars that have stood the test of time, holding on to their coveted locations flanking famous streets like Hollywood Boulevard for decades. It is always a risk for a new place to open up and try to compete with these landmarks. For 3 Dog Cantina, the risk has certainly paid off. Though they have not been around too long, they’re already becoming a mainstay in the Hollywood scene. Their always-open over-sized windows looking out on Cahuenga make this spot and ideal place for those that love to relax after work with an ice cold beer and some classic people watching. Though they are technically a restaurant, 3 Dog makes a concerted effort to feel like a local hang out, perfect for knocking back a few brews with some friends. One of the perks to this restaurant layout is that it can accommodate large groups of people. With huge round tables that face the busy street 3 Dog sits on, it is easy to drink and chat over some delicious nachos or tacos without worrying about not being able to hear or to get a good seat by the bar. What’s even better is that 3 Dog has a longer than usual Happy Hour (from 3-7pm, Monday to Friday) for those non nine to five types that make up most of the population of people living in the uniquely cool Hollywood neighborhood.
