Irish Times is a small, unassuming little place, that doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. It's a what-you-see-is-what-you-get neighborhood bar with one pool table, tons of Irish paraphernalia, a small stage for local acts, and lots and lots of Guinness. The drinks are cheap, the food is what you'd expect for bar food, and the staff is doing their job. If you go into this place expecting the finest in everything with bend-over-backwards service, you'll leave sorely disappointed. Irish Times is for the patrons who just want their Guinness, have the music low enough to talk over, and have the staff leave them alone so they can enjoy a night out with friends. It's not really about the "experience" of Irish Times, it's about catching some good beer and good conversation with your friends. While they don't have anything listed yet for St. Patrick's Day, there's bound to be celebration with all the beer and whiskey you can imagine.
