33 Taps is the new kid on the block when it comes to Hollywood sports bars, but that isn’t stopping it from quickly making a name for itself. This newly renovated bar and restaurant is reaping the benefits from its remodel in the form of tons of beer, great food and a whole slew of new customers.
Located directly off of Hollywood Boulevard, 33 Taps is home to some major neighborhood sports fans all year long, and of course when the World Cup gets going, this spot is even more of a destination. Walking through the oversized, heavy wooden doors, you immediately enter into what can be seen as a Hollywood-esque sports bar. Here you’ll find all the standard amenities you would expect from a place that’s always got the game on- tons of large televisions and ample seating room. (The seats can definitely become scarce during more popular games like the World Cup, so it’s definitely advisable to come early and steak out a good table.) But, because this is in Hollywood, this sports bar also comes with a certain level of class. Their large wraparound bar is made of slick white marble and their bar stools are cushioned with plush leather. Besides the cool ambiance, ample televisions, and large tables, the other main thing this place has going for it when it comes to soccer viewing, is its impressive list of beers on tap. As the name might suggest, this spot is overflowing with tons of different kinds of brews from classics to more exotic beers. After all, it’s hard to fully enjoy the game (even if it’s one as exciting as the World Cup) without some frosty cold ones to choose from. So, if you’re looking to catch the game somewhere that encourages loud cheering and screaming while still remaining a bit classy, 33 Taps is definitely the place for you and your crew to watch the World Cup.
