Located in the Fairmont Miramar Hotel on Wilshire, Bungalow stays true to the upscale yet beach-like feel of Santa Monica. The venue resembles a celebrity beach house, with Moroccan and Bohemian-style décor created by top designers, a large outdoor area with patio furniture, and a vacation getaway-type feel. The trendy ambiance includes full bars inside and out, a DJ on the weekends, and a beautiful enclosed patio.
For a trendy vacation getaway year ‘round, Bungalow is definitely your go-to spot. White woodwork, high ceilings, and surf-style décor surround you. The Westside venue is a Brent Bolthouse creation, which opened in 2012, and quickly became a cool hotspot. The beach cottage feel includes couches, daybeds and décor fit for an upscale beach house. The vibe meshes well with all LA types, whether you are looking to have a night out or for something more relaxing. Those who want to socialize can spend their time near the bar or DJ booth, or in the billiards room. Patrons looking to have a more private conversation with friends can venture to a cozier area, such as the “state room†with its comfy wicker chairs, or converse around an outdoor fire pit. The crowd is the laidback, LA local trendy type who love a place that plays good music and serves a wide array of drinks. For weekday loungers, snag a prime seat near one of the fire pits. Or, go inside to enjoy low lighting with lit decor, including a sign that spells "Amor", and seating that allows room to converse. The interior has a living room style feel with strategically placed books and intricately tiled floors. Weekend partiers can meet plenty of friends, as it gets packed. However, there is plenty of room to wander around. Venture outside for a drink, or into the indoor/outdoor patio for some fresh air.
