Yes, this mythical concoction does exist, right here in Culver City. Looking like a true log cabin with large fallen trees making up the exterior, Bigfoot West keeps it cozy inside with low lights, and just the right amount of taxidermy. Surrounded by a stuffed fox, large wooden installations, and even a few dusty totem poles from the Indian chiefs of yore, Bigfoot West seems like the exact type of spot Johnny Appleseed would like to hang his hat for a while. With some of the most creative cocktails around, like the Toasted Marshmallow (concocted from a delicious mix of vanilla vodka, butterscotch liqueur, creme de cocoa, Irish cream and a toasted marshmallow), this comfy lounge is drawing in patrons from all over looking for a slice of winter all year round. This bonfire-esque feel radiates throughout the whole venue as 20 and 30-somethings chat with friends or intimately stir their specialty cocktails with a date. Dark blood-red bar stools, carved stone, and antler chandeliers punctuate the lodge vibe. Though they don't have a full menu to back up their awesome drinks, they do import some tasty and piping hot empanadas from the bakery next door. They also let you order in whatever food you want. Which means you'll occasionally see groups ordering in a pizza to go with their mind-boggling list of bourbons and scotches. When it comes to enjoying a cocktail, it doesn't get much better than that.
